The setting is magnificent, both outside and inside the restaurant. The service is top-notch: fast, efficient, and always with a smile. You're always guaranteed a great time at Monte Cristo! Whether it's for lunch, dinner, or an afternoon snack with their waffles… a superb place, open every day too!

Good, but overpriced for what it is. I also went there for an aperitif with a cheese board… the board was ridiculous. You're basically paying for the view of the Sèvre River.

Food ok, but very slow service. Not very helpful if part of your party are children. Beautiful day, seating too many customers for number of staff. Shame.

A wonderful discovery! The setting is magnificent, especially with the view of the Sèvre River, perfect for a relaxing time. The dishes were as beautiful as they were delicious: the pasta was generous and full of flavor, made with high-quality ingredients. The service was pleasant and the atmosphere convivial. Excellent value for money. I highly recommend it and will gladly return!

⚠️ Beware of the poor service mentioned in several previous reviews. The reception from the lead server was very poor from beginning to end; he was cold, completely annoyed, and irritating. The young waitress we had throughout the evening made a few mistakes (wrong cocktail, wrong main course, forgot a dessert, added an extra course to the bill), but she smiled and said it was okay. The problem definitely lies with the lead server, not her. The food was good, the setting very pretty, it's a shame about the service; I'm left with a bad impression of such a lovely place.

We ate well, the food was good, which makes our experience all the more disappointing. From the moment we arrived, having booked for the last seating at 9:30 pm, we received a very poor welcome. Barely a greeting, and the first thing the waiter said was, "You'll have to choose quickly, the kitchen is about to close." His attitude was cold, unpleasant, and unprofessional. During the meal, the waitress made a few mistakes, but she was smiling, pleasant, and immediately rectified the situation. However, paying the bill confirmed the bad impression left by the waiter. We wanted to split the bill three ways. Two people had already paid when we realized that one dish had been charged extra. When the waitress called her colleague, he told us, "Sort it out yourselves!" It was clearly their mistake. After such an unpleasant welcome, this response was truly inappropriate. We had to insist that he correct his mistake himself, which he eventually did, but still with a cold and unprofessional attitude. It's a shame, because the food is excellent, but such an unpleasant welcome and service completely ruin the experience. We hope this aspect will be improved, as it's just as important as the food. A word of advice to management: if this waiter doesn't enjoy interacting with customers, it might be better to give him a position without direct contact. His attitude is clearly damaging to your establishment's image.

Please note that you will not be served drinks or coffee between 11:30 am and 12:00 pm. Staff are on their break and waiting for customers to arrive for lunch. So if you're out for a stroll in the park, cut it short or plan your coffee beforehand!

A great place to eat with friends or family. Friendly welcome and quick service 👍🏼 The dishes are generous, and so are the desserts. The quality is definitely there 😉 A beautiful view of the Sèvre river makes enjoying your meal even better!

After a short run and a well-deserved rest, I settled down on the lovely terrace of this restaurant. Minutes passed, but no one came to see me. After five minutes, still no one. So I took the liberty of going up a few steps and asking if someone would be taking orders. The answer surprised me a little: "We're on break, no service between 11:30 and 12:00." Perhaps you could let people know this and arrange for someone to eat before or after, which would avoid this kind of situation and also help boost your business. But as always, this is just my opinion; you'll have your own.
