L'attilio Vertou

An unforgettable experience! Chef Attilio Marrazzo's cuisine is remarkably masterful: balanced, flavorful, precise, and exquisitely executed. Each dish is a true delight. The service is equally exceptional: warm, responsive, and impeccable, perfectly orchestrated by Helena and Rayan, who contribute to making this a truly unique experience. An address I recommend without hesitation and where I will gladly return.

We came to the restaurant as part of our stay at Château du Portereau, to celebrate my birthday. We had a wonderful meal; the cuisine was original and daring (for example, the turtledove ravioli with pastis sauce). The service was also excellent, and we hope to return.

A large park, a view of the Sèvre River, trees—a beautiful spot. For the restaurant, I recommend the Boudoir room, which is lovely, though a bit large for a boudoir. As for the food, I appreciated the perfect balance of flavors; each flavor is perfectly placed, and it's a pleasure to discover each ingredient. There's no unnecessary fuss, you know, when the waiter recites a mile-long list of all the little bits and pieces on the plate that add nothing but decoration. Like contemporary art. The selection of wines by the glass is limited, but the wines are perfectly paired, following the sommelier's recommendations. The service is quick, and the staff is attentive and motivated. The only slight drawback is that the vitello tonnato was a bit too drowned in cream. I don't eat out often, but I usually leave a tip. I was surprised by the percentages displayed on the credit card terminal. The lowest percentage offered is 15%, which is the average percentage in the USA where servers generally do not have a fixed connection.

We had dinner at this restaurant last night and had a wonderful time. The food was delicious, with a special mention for the vitello tonnato, which we found excellent—a dish quite rare to find in Nantes (especially one that's good)! The service was also impeccable, with a special mention for the lady who greeted and served us: professional, attentive, and very pleasant. The setting of the château grounds is magnificent, with an atmosphere that makes the experience truly unique!

We came as a party of six for dinner. The welcome, the service, and the food were excellent. The wine list was also very good!
