A decent restaurant for a weekday or worker's lunch; a little more effort for weekend customers (in the kitchen and dining room) would be a plus. But still very good nonetheless.

It's always instructive to read the comments, especially the most recent ones... As clients of Mr. and Mrs. Monnier for over 15 years and recently guests at a wedding in Bouaye, you can immediately sense the scam behind the positive reviews following each negative one. Everything has changed: the atmosphere, the food... it's gone from a generous establishment with true professionals to people who claim to be professionals, but only in words, not in actions. It's always easier to criticize the work of one's predecessors (who were there for over 20 years, I believe) than to prove one's own talent through one's work. Because right now, they're nowhere near as good as they could be! And to be sure, I also had lunch at the restaurant a few days after the wedding, and things have unfortunately changed, but not for the better. (I'm updating my comment following the owners' threatening response. I understand that my comment may have upset you, but it simply describes reality. You can hire every lawyer in the world, and I think they'll start by telling you to delete your replies. If you're right, I don't think they would have had so many positive reviews... so there's no point in defaming others or spreading horrible stories to prove you're doing better... What a strange way of operating...)

I went to this restaurant with my family; we ate well and received a warm welcome.

The team at La Biguenee is fantastic! They served my wedding meal, and everything was excellent. I highly recommend them. The chef and waitress were both amazing. Hugs and thanks!

Avoid at all costs! Invited to a wedding, we felt like we were intruding! The food was tasteless and almost certainly frozen…

The atmosphere was mediocre, in a setting of similar quality. We were expecting a pleasant family lunch, but the service was truly subpar at this restaurant. The food served was bland and uninteresting. We will not be returning and certainly will not recommend this establishment.

Shameful. Nothing is right. The new manager is awful to customers.

We eat well there

Very disappointed by my experience at La Biguenée Limited choice of dishes, limited choice of aperitifs if you don't want to drink pastis, kir, or whisky. The wine was harsh, the pepper sauce was too strong. The self-service dessert concept is good when you don't have to fight over chocolate mousse or choose a "oxidized" floating island. PS: These days, at least one vegetarian option on the menu seems like the bare minimum. On the positive side: pleasant decor

A family meal in a warm setting with outstanding service! I highly recommend this restaurant!

We had the opportunity to meet them at a family wedding. The new owner is very genuine, friendly, and attentive to service. He is committed to taking over the restaurant. We ate very well; the meat was perfectly cooked, as was the fish. The chef offered a surprise, which was very friendly and also had a great atmosphere. I highly recommend it.

Thank you to the chef for the excellent meal at our wedding reception. However, we are very unhappy and disappointed with the service during the cocktail hour (a service we paid €140 for), after several comments from our guests. They were only served ONE glass each, even though there was more than enough (we even had to return the excess!), and the cakes weren't even presented on the table. We came across as incredibly stingy, even though there was plenty available. The drinks service at the table was practically nonexistent (€105), and some guests even went to the restrooms to refill water bottles (there were still 15 packs of water available!). Furthermore, when the owner's husband arrived for his fountain "show," all he could do was tell me, for the third time, that at one of the weddings he catered, the bride had killed herself on her wedding day with her father-in-law! (As the bride, you can imagine...) He was talking to our guests about decapitation! Criticized the DJ, saying he could have done much better for less money... We booked under the previous owner and were only informed of this change during the tasting, five months before our wedding—too late to make any changes. Not to mention the stained tablecloths; luckily, table runners hid the damage... but all of this is the fault of the previous owner... REALLY DISAPPOINTED
